2025 Camp Dates:

June 16-20 at Redeemer Bible Church
June 23-27 at Grace Bible Church

Bright Lights Theatre Summer Camps are a week-long process of producing a 45-minute original musical. In just one week, students will audition, be cast, rehearse, and perform this musical for family and friends. They will also assist in the technical elements of the show, creating props and portions of the set and designing their own costumes. They will make new friends and learn how this show points us back to God's big story in the bible! In our new Summer Camp show, we are entering the world of comic books. As pressure mounts from the local publishing office, a New York based comic company must try to write the next biggest hit. Through trials and tribulations (and help from their comic book characters) the office learns that true heroes are the one who do what is right, even when everyone else says to cheat the system.

PLEASE NOTE:
All sessions this year are open to PreK-8th grade students. It is the perfect first step for new students who are interested in theatre AND younger students hoping to hone their skills. At camp, everyone gets the chance to shine if they desire it. Students 4 years old-Kindergarten are a part of our Jr. Camp (9am-12pm; M-Th). Students entering 1st-8th grade in fall 2025 participate in the full day camp from 9 am-3:30 pm each day. Everyone (PreK-8th) will participate in the performance on Friday at 2 pm, which is free for family and friends.

Save the date! Registration will open February 1st.

First Summer Show:
For those who have a 5th-12th grader who might be more interested in a full production than a camp, we are producing our first summer production this year. It is Charlotte's Web the Musical and is available to 5th-12th graders because of its intensive rehearsal schedule. Because of this program addition, the summer camp schedule has been condensed to June to make space for this production in July. You can find more details about Charlotte's Web here.
